Pantoya cake is one of the traditional snack recipes. It is said that, the origin of this cake from Noakhali, Bangladesh. It needs fewer ingredients but tastes delicious. I am going to share the recipe with you. Please follow the simple steps described below;

Ingredients

1. Liquid Milk - 1/2 liter

2. Bread- 2 pcs ( Without Edge)

3. Sugar- 1/2 cup

4. Maida- 1.5 Cup

5. Egg- 01 pcs

6. Almond paste- 1 tsp

7. Raisin paste- 1 tsp

8. Milk powder- 3tsp

9. Salt- as to taste

 Method:

 

  1. Take a bowl and pour some liquid milk on it.
  2. Add two pieces of bread (without edge) and Grind them well.
  3. Add 1/2 cup sugar ( up to your choice) and grind them until sugar melt.
  4. Now add 1.5 cup flour and 1 pcs egg and make them paste.
  5. Add more liquid milk to make the mixture thin.
  6. Add almond paste 1 tsp, raisin paste 1 tsp, milk powder 3 tsp, salt as to taste and mix well.
  7. Now left the mixture in rest for 10 minutes.
  8. By this time we have to make an omelet.
  9. Now take a frying pan with required cooking oil.
  10. Now dip the omelet into the mixture and release it on cooking oil
  11. Fry them until getting brown color. It would be the first layer.
  12. Repeat the same for making multiple layers.
  13. After making multiple layers, take it on a dish and slice them as per your required size.
  14. Pantoya cake is ready to serve.
